Dave finds himself as the lead developer for Old Mutual’s public facing website. So his days are mostly spend banging away at his keyboard in a language not understood by most, trying to integrate the coolest and shiniest things he has discovered.

When the lid is closed on his laptop the role is changed to Dad to two brilliant kids, husband to a fantastic wife, hero to the world’s slobberiest hound and slave to the cat (or so it thinks).

Dave grew up in Johannesburg, started out his working career as a draughtsman for several companies before meeting his wife, moving to Cape Town, getting retrenched, getting unemployed, getting training and re-inventing himself in the digital space.
